Eddie McGrady MP has received confirmation from the South Eastern Heath Trust that they are encouraged by the response to the recently advertised posts for Midwifes ands that they anticipate that this will have a positive impact on current staffing levels and pressures on the service.

Speaking after receiving this news the MP said

“I am very pleased that the recruitment process for the new Midwife led Unit is moving ahead at speed, as promised by the Trust. I will continue to give every support to this process and encourage Midwifes to become part of this new and exciting workplace in the Downe Hospital which will bring many new challenges and rewards
