MP urges for resolution to flooding at Kinelarty Walk, Ballynahinch
South Down MP Eddie McGrady has called on Northern Ireland Water to take immediate action to resolve the flooding problem at Kinelarty Walk, Ballynahinch, which has affected a number of homes in the area.
Mr McGrady stated, “A problem with run off water from paths into drains has been identified and apparently a block on the main sewer, and NI Water needs to visit the area to identify a long-term solution. I understand that it was unable to send representatives to previous site meetings with other the agencies tasked at dealing with the flooding, and it is now time for NI Water to investigate and ensure a remedial plan is put into action.”
